RCM Immersion Retreat

Two full days. Twelve revenue cycle leaders. One lake.

Twelve chairs on the lawn. One for each of us.

Here's the idea. Twelve of us who run revenue cycle get together for two days on the water in Charlevoix, Michigan. Each of us brings the project we're in the middle of right now. The one that's stuck. The one keeping you up at night.

Then we sit with it. One person at a time, the whole room gives you its full attention. We ask questions until we find the real problem. We share what's worked for us. And you leave with your next step and two people who will hold you to it.

If you've been to the RCM Leaders Forum, this is that conversation, slowed way down. No slides. No vendors pitching. Just leaders who do the work, helping each other do it better.

And in the afternoons, we play. Golf, trap shooting, ATVs, jet skis, the boat, or a chair on the beach.

How your seat works

Twenty-five minutes with the whole room

  1. 5 min

    Frame it

Tell us the project, where it's stuck, and the one question you want us to work on.

  2. 12 min

    Questions only

The room asks. No advice yet. Good questions find the real problem faster than good answers.

  3. 5 min

    What we'd try

Now the ideas come: playbooks, templates, and what happened when we tried it ourselves.

  4. 3 min

    Your next step

You name one move you'll make in the next 30 days. We write it down.

After each block of seats, you break into a pod of three. Your pod turns your next step into a one-page 30-day plan, and you check in together a month later.

Questions

Who is this for?

Provider-side revenue cycle leaders: CROs and VPs who own a real project right now. Patient access, coding, denials, billing, automation. If you're carrying it, you belong here.

Where is it?

The Zotec Family Retreat Center in Charlevoix, Michigan, right on the lake. We all stay on site.

When?

Late July 2027, Thursday to Sunday. Arrive Thursday evening, spend Friday and Saturday with us, and head home by noon Sunday. Exact dates are coming soon.

What does it cost?

$500 registration. The retreat is sponsored by Zotec, which is what makes the rest of it possible.

Why only twelve?

Because everyone gets a turn, and every turn gets the whole room. Any bigger and it becomes a conference.

What do I need to prepare?

A one-page project card about two weeks out: the project, where it's stuck, your one question, the number that tells you it's working, and one playbook you'll share. Then a short call with me to sharpen your question.

What is there to do?

Plenty. Golf, trap shooting, ATV rides, jet skis, boating, kayaks and paddleboards, a beach, a hot tub, and a fire every night. Afternoons are yours to pick.

Is it confidential?

Yes. What's said in the room stays in the room. Bring the real numbers and the real mess.

How do I get there?

Fly in and out of Traverse City (TVC). The retreat center is about an hour's drive, and we can arrange a shuttle if you send us your flight times.

What should I pack?

Your project card, a swimsuit, layers for the evenings by the fire, and shoes you don't mind getting wet.

Save one of the twelve chairs.

Send me a note with your name, organization, and the project you'd bring. I'll reach out to set up a call.
